BERNARD BUTTONE

As Portfolio Manager, Bernard leads the portfolio companies in establishing growth strategies and initiatives. focuses his efforts on acquiring companies, maximizing profit, overseeing the budget, and streamlining operations. His top priority is caring for people to ensure that we are winning as a team. He takes great care and pride in giving others new opportunities.

 

In his previous role, Bernard was Chief Operations Officer at Triangle Pest Control. Bernard produced results by maximizing gross profit to above 55%, managing a team of 60 employees,  and helping bring the company from $1M to over $10M. It is evident from prior experience that Bernard is a “go-getter.” He has had a number of managerial roles and has been working two jobs for longer than he was working one alone. 

 

When not working, Bernard is studying at East Carolina University to complete his degree in Business Management by Fall of 2022. He also holds a pest control license and is an Associate Certified Entomologist. He recently completed a 100-mile ride from Philadelphia to Atlantic City for Bike-A-Thon, raising money for the American Cancer Society. Bernard is heavily involved in the community, working to provide a better life for those around him. In his free time, he has elected to work as the founder and Executive Director of a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Bernard designs, executes, manages, and communicates initiatives of Camp Keith, which offers a camp-like family gathering to communities of color. The goal is to give back to the community that has always helped him. He calls it a “labor of love” to give opportunities to those who would otherwise not have it.

 

Despite what is listed above, Bernard will say that his biggest accomplishment is being a loving father of three boys.
