Jeff May manages CAP’s brokerage business and is known for his relational skill

of quickly building trust among all stakeholders. His primary role is to develop relationships in the community with professional partners, seek out new prospects on the buy and sell side, and is deeply involved in bringing transactions to the closing table. Using his vast experience in business finance and operations, and strong relational skills, Jeff is able to advise buyers and sellers, and help to navigate through complexities of successfully closing a transaction.


He spent several years in public accounting prior to becoming the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for several successful family-owned enterprises, primarily in the food and hospitality spaces. In those roles Jeff helped to deliver growth of the business and development of the teams that managed them. In the past several years he has advised CEO’s on strategy and has been involved in multiple M&A transactions.

Jeff enjoys traveling, boating, gardening, and learning. He resides in Greensboro with his wife and son. He is a lifelong learner who has a teacher’s heart, so Jeff enjoys working with people and helping them be successful in their goals.
