KATRINA ZRUBEK

Katrina is an Associate and Operations Coordinator at CAP. She leads the day-to-day execution of transactions, providing operational and financial analysis support to management, and supporting all other investment activities of the firm. Her focus is optimizing the buyer and seller experience through the highest level of service, attention to detail, and proactive assistance.

 

Prior to joining the CAP team, Katrina spent a year evaluating deals for two North Carolina based venture capital firms and working with entrepreneurs on various “next phase” projects. These deals ranged across a variety of industries and verticals including: Procurement, SaaS, Ecology, Actuarial Modeling, Learning Management, Product Intelligence, Marketing, and Technology. Originally, Katrina worked as Operations Coordinator at a corporate housing and property management company for nearly six years. There, she supported strategic initiatives in marketing and operations, optimized operating expenses, and prioritized the client’s experience. In 2018, Katrina moved out to North Carolina and began attending High Point University. Around this time, she began to work at a Real Estate Company as their Marketing Specialist. 

 

Katrina interned with CAP while finishing her Master’s degree at High Point University where she received her Master’s degree in Communication and Business Leadership, B.S.B.A degree in Business Administration, and minors in Spanish and Entrepreneurship. Katrina graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a recipient of the “Qubein Phillips Extraordinary Academic Achievement award.” She is a member of various honor societies and holds several certifications.

 

Born and raised in Colorado, She enjoys all things outdoors, except the bugs! As an avid hiker, she has even climbed a 14,155 ft. mountain. When she is not running, hiking, or exploring, she can be found with her nose buried in another book, working on DIY home projects, or shooting sporting clays.
